Notice of Course Enrollment for the Spring semester of 2025

In order to reduce the emission of carbon footprint for a sustainable campus, as well as to facilitate your control of the number of students requesting course additions, the Office of Academic Affairs will change its instructor signature-based procedure to an online review mechanism for course additions, starting from the spring semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

For Students

1. Application for course-addition: 8:30 on February 19 to 12:00 on February 25, 2025

NOTE

1. In principle, instructor will review application and approve directly. Department only can approve it for student after instructor authorizes.

2. Student who needs to enroll more than 25 course credits shall submit Courses Overload Request Form.

3. Student who plans to enroll course 'THESIS ADVISE' or 'SPECIAL PROJECTS' shall confirm advisor and submit confirmation form (see file below) in advance.

4. Bachelor program student who plans to enroll courses from Dept of Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geomatics, or College of Planning and Design for elective credits in our department, please submit Request Form for Recognition of Credits to department office in advance.

5. Graduate students must take course 'Special Topics' (1)~(4) by division in the first two years. If student can't graduate for lack of  it, all consequences are at student's own risk.

6. Department office will enroll “in the thesis/dissertation-writing process” for graduate students who study in (or after) the 3rd year and have completed required credits.
