NCKU Notice of Course Enrollment for the Spring semester of 2025

NCKU Notice of Course Enrollment for the Spring Semester of 2025 (Revised on December 9 2024)

Please read schedule and detail for each stage carefully before enrolling courses.

Reminder:

§ Undergraduate Program

1. Students shall each enroll with 9 to 25 course credits per semester in each year of study. However, deferred students shall enroll in a minimum of one course regardless of course credits for each semester.

2. Each student shall take required courses for the first time in our department, and then retake course(s) in another department after course(s) is failed.

3. Application for foreign language proficiency verification (that is, the graduation threshold for English proficiency) (Application for English Course Credit Exemptions and foreign language proficiency verification are divided.)

§ Graduate Program

Graduate students shall enroll in a minimum of one course regardless of credits for each semester (a special-topic seminar can also be considered as one course in this context). Those who have completed their coursework with the credits required for graduation are exempt from any course enrollment, with their transcripts for the semester specifying “in the thesis/dissertation-writing process.”

1.  Remember to enroll 'special-topic seminar' according to your own division. This course is required for graduation, so each student must collect (1)~(4) within 2 years. If you don't know which one you shall enroll, please confirm with Ms. Phyllis.

2. Department office will enroll ''“in the thesis/dissertation-writing process” for students who have completed courses (credits) directly. Student will only see it on the transcript instead of online system.
