Qualification for Graduation (Graduate Program)

General education courses for graduate students is required for graduation, so please confirm whether you've completed courses 3 months ahead before graduation.

Accroding to NCKU General Principles of Curriculum Planning and Guidelines of Graduation Credits of our department, "graduate students who enrolled in (or after) Fall 2022 shall complete their general education courses of academic ethics (a minimum of six hours), writing in Chinese and English (a minimum of one hour), and communication skills (a minimum of one hour).

  • Students who expected to have oral defense for graduation this semester (before July 30, 2024), lease complete courses of academic ethics and submit the certificate of completion to the department office before March 31, 2024. You can see relevant links on the guidelines.
  • Remember to watch films of 'writing in Chinese and English' and 'communication skills', and then complete tests at the Moodle system (course 'special topics').  
  • If you've passed course 'BUSINESS WRITING AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS', you won't need to complete course 'writing in Chinese and English' and 'communication skills' as above.
  • Student ID number who enrolled in (or after) Fall 2022 are N68117XXX, N68127XXX, N66117XXX, N66127XXX.
