Info about Procedure for Graduation (for Fall Semester 2020)
  • The diploma will be available after the procedures on the application form are completed.
  • The deadline of collecting the diploma is September 4, 2020.
  • Each student must bring student ID card, graduation procedure form, and 2-inch photo with gown to Registrar Division.

*Student who has submitted photo in April won't need to submit it again.

 

Online Application System for Graduation from NCKU

NCKU School Departure Notification for Int’l Degree students

 

For Bachelor Degree

  1. Confirm the completion of grade registration at the Registrar's Division and pass required credits for graduation.
  2. Print out "Graduation Procedure Form"at online application system, and then ask an approval at assigned divisions.   

 

For Graduate Degree

  1. Confirm the completion of grade registration at the Registrar's Division and pass required credits for graduation.
  2. Staff of library will need 2~3 days to confirm thesis, so please upload thesis at library website before August 28, 2020. Library will need 2-3 days to confirm Library E-theses upload can be accessed at http://etds.lib.ncku.edu.tw/html/index-en.html.
  3. Print out "Graduation Procedure Form"at online application system, and then bring 3 theses (please see attachment) for asking an approval at assigned divisions.
  4. If student will collect the diploma before the deadline indeed, please DO NOT pay registration fees when receiving the bill in August.

 

Notes:

  1. Upload thesis to NCKU library (http://etds.lib.ncku.edu.tw/html/). 
  2. Print out thesis after library confirms.
  3. Prepare 3 copies of thesis for submitting to department and library. Master degree students submit thesis in paperback; and PhD degree students submit thesis in hardback.
  4. The form should be signed by advisor first, and then collect seals at department and some offices. Please bring the form for following procedures.

(1) Submit 1 thesis to Mr. Ni at 7F at Geotechnical Eng. Building. The thesis will be preserved by department.

(2) Confirm with Mr. Chang at Soil Mechanics Lab (1F at mail building) whether student borrows equipment from department.

(3) Return gate sensor to Mr. Ho at department office  (2F at mail building)

(4) Submit 1 thesis to Ms. Wang. The Thesis will be sent to National Central Library.

(5) Submit 1 thesis to NCKU library, and then ask a seal at International Student Affairs Division.

(6) Student must complete above procedures before submitting the form to Registrar Division.
