Graduation Examination for Graduate Students

Applicant must submit application for oral defense and the originality report from the online plagiarism detection system with advisor's signature.

Rules and Regulations of Graduation Examination for Graduate Students

Graduate students who apply for a master’s or doctoral degree examination shall comply with the following requirements:
Application date and service of grade:

  • 1st semester: from the school opening date identified in the calendar of the University until January 20; the oral examination grade shall be submitted to the Division of Registration before January 31.
  • 2nd semester: from the school opening date identified in the calendar of the University until July 20; the oral examination grade shall be submitted to the Division of Registration before July 31.

* As Academic Affair Conference resoluation on November 2020, postgraduate students are required to submit a similarity report with advisor signature. (Please see Article 4)

 

 

For Master Program

  1. Students shall submit the application form to department office one month ahead oral defense. (http://cid.acad.ncku.edu.tw/p/412-1042-1378.php?Lang=zh-tw)

  4. For PhD Program

Students shall submit the application form to department office one and half month ahead oral defense, and submit required documents as following to ask the approval of Academic Council.

  1. Application form for PhD graduation examination (for Dept_see Attachment 1)
  2. NCKU Defense application (https://campus4.ncku.edu.tw/wwwmenu/program/mou/)
  3. Transcript
  4. Certificate of PhD qualifying examination
  5. List of Defense Committee Members (see Attachment 2)
  6. Proof of publication record in journal(s)
  7. Draft thesis
