課程概述

講授測量學基本概念，由傳統地面測量學出發，並引入現代化測量及空間技術：GPS衛星定位測量、攝影測量及遙測、地理資訊系統，與應用這些技術執行工程測量、環境監測等等。同時介紹基本坐標系統及地圖投影概念，因為測量一定含有誤差，所以課程中也兼論基礎誤差理論及誤差處理。

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of Geomatics: from the traditional terrestrial measurements to the modern measurement and spatial technologies like GPS positioning, Photogrammetry and remote sensing, and Geographical information systems, and discusses the applications on engineering surveying and environmental monitoring etc. The basic coordinate systems, map projections, and measurement errors and error processing are also introduced.

使學生明白測量學為工程的基礎，及能應用測量技術解決工程問題或改善人類生活，建立學生的測量及空間資訊的基本知識體系。
