課程目標:

Classical plate bending theory; emphasis on the partial differential equations of rectangular and circular plates and their analytical solutions; familiar with the approximate solutions for plates such as Ritz method, Galerkin method, finite element method and finite difference method; study of the advanced topics of plates including inplane loads, buckling, free vibration, thermal stress and orthotropy.
